Spring in the Vail Valley isn't just about real estate...it's about the return of world-class golf, and the 2026 season is already underway.
Three courses are open now, as of April 2026: Gypsum Creek Golf Course (the longest season in the valley, designed by Pete Dye), Eagle Ranch Golf Club in Eagle (an Arnold Palmer Signature course), and the Cordillera Valley Course in Edwards (the first of the three Cordillera courses to open each season, designed by Tom Fazio).
Beaver Creek Golf Club follows on May 2, with Red Sky Ranch's two marquee courses, the Greg Norman Course and the Tom Fazio Course, ranked number one in Colorado, opening May 9 in Wolcott. Red Sky Golf is consistently one of the most searched and sought-after golf destinations in the state, and for good reason.
Mid-May brings the bulk of the valley's courses online, including Vail Golf Club in East Vail (a Golf Digest Top 100 Resort), EagleVail Golf Club, Sonnenalp Golf Club in Edwards, Country Club of the Rockies (a Jack Nicklaus Signature course in Edwards), Eagle Springs Golf Club in Wolcott, Frost Creek Golf Club in Eagle (ranked 12th in Colorado), and both the Cordillera Mountain Course and The Short Course at Cordillera in Edwards.
Rounding out the season, the Cordillera Summit Course, a Jack Nicklaus design sitting at 9,200 feet in Eagle and the highest elevation course in the valley, is expected to open late May.
